Grey's mentality monthly playlist
Last month I posted the first post in this series, and it was a hit. It received thousands of impressions and clicks so I thought I would keep the series going. Check out last month's post.
This month's featured artist is kendrick lamar
I chose him because if you've seen Black Panther (which you should have) then you would know it's a masterpiece. When the credits rolled it said songs by Kendrick Lamar which I thought was awesome! My favorite from the movie was "All The Stars". It's beautiful, SZA's voice is unbeatable.

Years and years are releasing music again
Years and Years is unique. The lead singer is actually Cassie's love interest in her finale episode of Skins U.K. (which is the best show ever). He is open about his sexuality which I think is amazing and he integrates that in his music.
Their music videos are always entertaining and artistic.
I saw them in concert 2 years ago at the Summit Music Hall in Denver, Colorado. It was fantastic!
Chase atlantic (my fav ever)
Okay, if you have seen any of my other music posts you would know I LOVE Chase Atlantic. They are one of my top favorite bands. It's rare when I love an entire album and can listen to it all the way through. But I honestly love all of their songs, like every single one of them.
I saw them in concert in February at the Summit Music Hall in Denver, Colorado. I swear I haven't gone so hard at a concert in a long time. They always make everything a party.
I promise if you like The Neighborhood, Blackbear, or anyone similar you will like Chase Atlantic. Or if you're just an angsty teen at heart you will love them. Speaking of Cassie from Skins they have a song "about" her and Mitchel wears a Cassie shirt in the "Swim" video which you can buy on their website.
(There is an epilepsy warning for this video)
foster the people is back and they aren't messing around
Their new album is awesome. Just like Maroon 5 they are able to come back and keep their original style but mix it to what's popular right now.
I hope you all enjoy it and let me know what you want to hear next month!

Featured Artist: Post Malone
It's Music Monday! So I wanted to post a playlist!
What to listen to in March 2018!
On this playlist I have some popular songs and some song that fly under the radar.
I kind of ignored "Rockstar" when I heard it on the radio, but I decided to listen to Spotify's top 50 and I gave it another chance and I thought it was catchy. I decided to listen to more songs and I love them! If you like Blackbear I recommend listening to more of Post Malone.
The Neighbourhood is back!!!
One of my favorite bands The Neighbourhood (which is featured on my top 10 favorite bands post (here) is coming back after a long time of silence with their new album and is going on tour! I added my new favorite song of theirs, "Compass".
I have also been listening to Olivver the Kid more and more! His style is indie/alternative and has an emotional vibe. My favorite songs of his are also on the playlist as well!
What are you listening to right now?
And also don't forget to follow me! I try to post everyday on social media (especially my photography) so don't forget to check back!

Check him out on iTunes or find "Strangers" on the previewed album!
This song of the day means a lot to me. During my freshman year of college I experienced a lot of harsh emotions. Which is obviously normal but this song in particular really gave me the feels.

I have three songs to share with you…
One of my favorite songs right now is:
Reverse by SomeKindaWonderful
It is confusing and weirdly awesome. I can’t tell if the story means something different when you play it in reverse… hmmm.
But on a serious note…
Take me to Church by Hozier
I’m sure everyone has heard this song before but to me it is one of the most influential songs I have ever heard… Watch this short video about what this song actually means then watch the music video please it is just… it makes me cry every time honestly our world is so screwed up.
Behind the scenes of the meaning from the artist:
Then I will end this will one of my all time favorite artists:
He hasn’t released a single in years so here is his first single off his upcoming album
Hollow moon (Bad Wolf) By Awolnation
I present you with my choice for the song of the day which turned into multiple songs.
The official song is “Holding Onto You” by twenty one pilots
This song is so freaking great. It is dynamic, unique, and the title would allude you to believe this was another song about romance but don’t be fooled because if you listen closely that is in fact not at all true. The lyrics are genius plus I like this guys voice. The music video might through you off but just listen. This band has save so many lives their music is extremely powerful.
Then there is “House of Gold” by twenty one pilots
Chill electronic songs can be really, really fantastic. Some are really crappy and make you turn away quickly but I promise you this will not be the case. I have been working up the energy to write my critic for the 4 big name movies I have seen recently. So I decided that I would bless you with an amazing song for right now.
Today’s song of the day is: Waves by Mr. Probz (Robin Schulz Remix)
CECILIA AND THE SATELLITE:
Alright so I listen to the radio a lot in my car and my favorite radio station is 93.3…point is, is in the morning they always play this song and it is very simple but cute. The artist wrote it about his daughter. His voice is very soothing and it’s also catchy. If you listen to the lyrics you might appreciate the song more. He is not very famous but he should be. The song of the day is: Cecilia and the Satellite by Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.
